How and when did people get the idea of riding horses?

The concept of riding horses was introduced around 3500 BC to 3000 BC, probably starting in the Eurasian steppes. It started when people began taming wild horses for transportation and labor. The idea of riding horses was born out of necessity, as people needed a faster and more efficient way to travel and carry loads. The saddle and other riding equipment were developed later, making horse riding more comfortable and safe. Horse riding transformed human societies in terms of trade, warfare, and exploration.
